Our team will be in Gargas Prehistoric caves near Lourdes in French Pyrénées by June 18th 2022 for a very special day of public and free workshops. Along this journey, well organized by Neste Barousse Municipalities and smartly organized by Heidi Fontas we will animate exhibition and activities based on the cave paintings of this peculiar historical monument of heritage... from more than 10K years ago !
As early hygiene, a Metadata system has been put in place while launching the War Heritage Institute Digitization Processes benchmark. This comes from a mail discussion that occurred around April 9th 2021. I republish it here for easier feedback. We can improve it along but these are basically the guidelines I had in mind while drafting this template :
Basically, the best way to find something is to know its precise coordinates. Here we think about how to technically store such data in the various media produced around the item, and its potential security concerns. Depending on the file type, this data may be technically stored within the document "as it", in specific universal fields like EXIF standards for images, or in encrypted custom fields.

We are happy to confirm the project is now official and will take place along 2021 in Brussels and possibly offshore workshops.
Project presentation has been released in French and Dutch, according to local official languages. Reporting will occur in English.
